Taylorsville NC Street Dance

Come out and enjoy the Eighth Annual Alexander County Chamber of Commerce Street Dance and Vehicle Show on August 13, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Rain date is Saturday, August 20, 2011.

People may enter their classic car, truck, motorcycle or tractor for $10 per vehicle by the day before the show or $15 the day of the show.

Awards will be presented for the top vehicles in the following categories:

Best Original,
Best Street Rod,
Best Muscle Car,
Best Import,
Best Truck,
Best Tractor,
Best Motorcycle.

There will also be a Chili Cook Off.  The Chamber board will present awards for the Best Chili in Town, Hottest Chili, Judges Favorite, and Crowd Favorite.

There will be food, fun, dancing, and activities for the entire family. Activities planned include a dunking booth, a 50/50 raffle, dancin’ in the street, a cake walk, and children’s activities. Spaces for food booths, food-related concessions, and fun activities are available on a first-come basis.
