Hickory NC Polar Plunge 2014

The 9th annual Hickory Police Department Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics North Carolina will take place at the Wittenburg Wildlife Access on Saturday February 22,  2014.

Registration starts at 11:00am and the Plunge starts at 1:00pm.  The minimum donation to participate in the Plunge is $50.00.

There will be coffee, hot chocolate, doughnuts, warm campers to change clothes, DJ Rick Reynolds for entertainment on scene.

Dress up in your favorite comical plunge attire. Don’t forget to wear shoes and bring a towel and dry clothes.


The event is sponsored by the Hickory Police Department.
All monies raised go directly to the Special Olympics of North Carolina.
Rescue personnel will be on site and in the water during the plunge.

The fund raiser is intended to be a fun filled family event
to raise awareness and money for Special Olympics.
