Celebrate the season and shop local during a Holiday Open House & Festival 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at Hickory Museum of Art (HMA), 243 Third Ave. N.E., Hickory.
Admission is free!
This year’s event has been expanded to include more than 19 local artist booths, live music, refreshments and discounts on Galleria purchases. Also that day, children (Kindergarten and older) and families are invited to decorate their own gingerbread house from 10:30 a.m. until noon during HMA’s annual Jingle Bell Gingerbread House Party.
HMA’s Holiday Open House & Festival also features live music from area musicians, Casey Clark, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., and The Quick Walkers, 12 – 4 p.m. Refreshments will be provided by Atlanta Bread Company.

During the Holiday Open House & Festival, HMA members will receive a 20-percent discount on all Galleria purchases and a 10-percent discount will be available for nonmembers.
