Lenoir-Rhyne University has scheduled an open house featuring its Exercise Science program on Thursday, February 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the McCrorie Center.
The event offers the community the opportunity to tour the facility and see, firsthand, what LR students majoring in exercise science are learning. The tour will begin in lower level of the Center in Moretz 104 to showcase the exercise physiology laboratory.
The Exercise Science program is housed in the McCrorie Center, LR’s state-of-the-art athletic and health curriculum facility. The 47,000 square foot center supports the allied health sciences and intercollegiate athletic programs, and features the University’s first on-site anatomy laboratory.
Faculty members as well as students will be on-hand at the open house to provide tours and demonstrations of the equipment utilized.
The open house is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
