Carolina Moonlighters Concert at SALT Block

The Carolina Moonlighters recently announced the barbershop chorus will present a show entitled Daddy, Where Do Songs Come From? (The Musical Facts of Life) on Saturday, May 7 at the SALT Block auditorium at 7 pm.

Conducted by Barb Huffman of Vale, the Moonlighters will explore the origins of vintage and modern songs in the barbershop repertoire.

Highlighting the second half of the show will be the regionally acclaimed women’s quartet Singcerely. Members of the quartet are drawn from the Sweet Adelines Carolina Style Chorus in Newton and the Charlotte A Cappella Show Chorus.

The concert is free; donations will be accepted. Tickets may be obtained from any Moonlighter and will be available at the door.
