The Bethlehem Community Development Association’s 7th Annual Bethlehem Day Festival and Classic Car Cruise-In is set for Saturday, September 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and features fun for everyone!
Located in the same location as last year (at the crossroads of Shiloh Church and Rink Dam Road in Bethlehem), the annual fall event features live music all day; a “Pickin’ Tent”; inflatable entertainment and activities for children; more than 50 arts, crafts, and information vendors; a wide variety of food and drinks; and a Classic Car Cruise-In from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The event will also feature a special baking challenge, with two contests available to the contestants — the “Individual Bake Challenge” and the “Church Bake Challenge”! Awards will be presented for first ($100), second ($50), and third ($25) places for the individual challenge and “Best Baking Church” will receive a “Classic Sunbeam Mixmaster” with the church name engraved on the base to be displayed at the winning church for one year. For more information about the baking contest, contact Donna Reid at 828-234-6690.
Vendor applications are now being accepted for Bethlehem Day. Application fees are $30 for craft vendors and $45 for food vendors. Registration deadline is September 9th. Musicians are also being sought for the event, as the festival will once again set up the popular “Pickin’ Tent” for all musicians to come share their talents and music throughout the day.
